I've been trying to run outside, but it's cold!! So, I finally made myself a Morning Walk Headband, by Tif Matthews. More projects to come soon. I've been knitting again. Yea!
I recently found your blog and love the stuff you have on Ravelry. I can relate to your post of living with the in-laws while building ... we did the same thing and our house was finished 2 years ago in February. It is a blessing to have a place to live but nothing beats your OWN SPACE! Also, I too have tried teaching my 5 year old to knit. She is getting the hang of it, but I had to teach her the "throw" method because it is easier for her dexterity at 5. I, however, use the continental method ... so .. it's a long process but it is such a blessing to be able to share a gift of crafts :)
Hi Amy, I just found your blog by searching for Russell-Silver Syndrome. Our son was just diagnosed with Russell-Silver Syndrome. We have joined the Magic Foundation (I've been reading the book we received on a daily basis) and plan on attending the conference in July. If you would like to correspond, my email is thompson_ramona@rocketmail.com I'm sorry but I didn't know how to send you a message privately. I also knit, but I'm not nearly as good a knitter as you. Thanks, Ramona Thompson
super cute!!!
